Our landscape softens the infrastructure finding a balance between safety, maintenance, and amenity. As part of the wider project team, Outerspace Studios designed a landscape and public realm which drew upon a palette of materials capturing the sites historic industrial character whilst planning for an environmentally sustainable future.
The new lowered train station is linked by the continuation of the River Torrens Linear Park shared use path connecting to the extensive bike network through Brompton and into the CBD.
Achieving water sensitive urban design treatments was a key focus for us, such as rain gardens to treat surface run off and creating a biodiversity corridor to link to River Torrens Linear Park and Adelaide Park Lands.

Local reference points such as the adjacent Bowden Village Precinct informed design features creating a seamless transition from one area to the next.
